Day 992: Before the rains...

The forecast calls for at least four very wet days, so today I made a point to do things outside (eventually). I went to the symphony happy hour downtown, then later I took a walk past the middle school, where it's fun to see the lights from the big windows in the multi-story houses up a hill, among tall trees. It's one of my favorite after-dark walks. There had been an event at the school, though, so rather more cars were driving to and fro than I'd have liked.

Also, they did take my leaf pile, today. I need not have fretted.
