eve_primeA Psalm for the Wild-Built, by Becky Chambers. I completely adored this, with one tiny reservation. Why must the main character regularly punctuate their speech with the f-word? I mean, sure, it was natural enough for them to do, but with that decision the author decided to keep her book out of public school curricula. Otherwise it would be quite a desirable book for young people to read, I would think. Anyway, I should definitely buy a copy, and I should get all the future books in this "Monk and Robot" series, and I have strongly encouraged J's book club to adopt it for June, as it's just what they're looking for.
