Day 671: MLK Day

I confess that I didn't give much thought to Dr. King today. Rather, I spent much of the day thinking about yet another writing project (as if I really need another one). I also did some mending (then dropped the needle onto my bed or bedroom floor and haven't encountered it since, oops!), raked some oak leaves (although surely the leaf pick-up is done for the year), went to the credit union to deposit some checks, then attempted to buy a few groceries. Thanks to supply chain issues, I wasn't able to get the crackers I wanted, or pita bread, or eggs. We also ordered some birthday gifts for J's younger nephew. Oh, and I'm doing the laundry (a day late).

D's post-booster-shot headache was improved with ibuprofen, and I expect he'll be fine tomorrow.

Now I should read the first 32 pages of Caste for G's lab tomorrow. And... that's holiday-relevant! Good.
