eve_primeToday J. and I went shopping for gifts for the new baby in his family. We found the most awesome line of plushies - they had a kraken, a kitsune, several types of dragons, and even a variety of foods. My favorite was the cinnamon bun! Cinnamon bun! We got a hermit crab for the baby.
In the evening, we finally started watching this season's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and then I finally steeled myself to read The Girl on the Train, which one of his coworkers had sent home with him for me to read. I was glad to get through it all at once - it was more stressful and more gruesome than the kinds of thrillers I prefer (like Mary Stewart's books).
