And J. helped his local best buddy finish packing up for his move to Washington, after work, before finally carving his pumpkin. And D’s man-eating shark costume turns out to need lots of extra prep and adjustment, though it seems it fits well enough if he also wears a bike helmet. We stuffed the fins with bubble-wrap and gave up on the legs sticking out of the mouth, because adding the shoes makes it much too heavy. He still thinks it’s the coolest costume ever, and that’s what it’s all about.
