eve_primeOur paper on democide (genocide + state terror) is looking impressive, and I’m excited to be the co-author. I think G’s going to submit it this week! Six or so years since we started it... He’s sending it to one of the top journals. Our local genocide expert was extremely encouraging.
Meanwhile, D. came home from his Saturday night sleepover at R’s with what appears to be a bad cold, including dizziness and fever. He wasn’t able to go to his bi-weekly D&D game, and he hasn’t been able to see J’s parents, who arrived today for a three- or four-night visit. (J’s dad injured his back a few days ago, and coughing is a serious problem for him, so we want to limit his exposure to germs.) My throat is now scratchy as well, urgh.
