Oregon 30, Washington 27

Well! This one was satisfying! Although Oregon State is our official rival, all Ducks feel more strongly about beating Washington than any other team... and this time Washington was ranked #7 nationally and had beaten Oregon soundly both of the past two years, if I remember correctly. So when their relatively straightforward field goal attempt with 3 seconds left managed to fail, we became hopeful. And then they scored a field goal in overtime... but we scored a touchdown. Woo hoo!

J. and his friends didn't advance in the team Grand Prix they were playing in, today in Denver. I've done a fair amount of work and housework and have been relaxing with the second Elizabeth Moon book about Paksenarrion. (And also, the JJ Feild version of Northanger Abbey, always a favorite.)
