eve_prime | Day 978: Fog

This afternoon I drove downtown with D. to see about upgrading his phone, and although it just looked cloudy from our house, once we could see further it became apparent that it was actually fog. Then, as it was getting dark, the fog settled in closer, so that when we went on a walk we could still see a few blocks, but beyond that just the silhouettes of trees. Finally, at night, here's the view of my scarlet oak from J's front porch:

(The light's from the Safeway, half a block away. Not enough to light up the tree on a cloudless night, but with the fog a lot of the light is retained.)
