Day 781: Quiet Saturday

Today I did a bit of writing, shopped at the supermarket with J, and watched a Perry Mason episode in which the actor who played Star Trek's Dr. McCoy was a hen-pecked husband, and the actor who played Gilligan's Skipper was a less-than-fully-competent private investigator.

DG and AA have found two more worthy houses. This one is walking distance from a fun open-air food truck area, and this one is walking distance from us. The first of these houses is very attractive, and even has an outdoor pizza oven and tea room in the backyard! The second one looks boring from the street but has a very nice interior and yard, with a hot tub. We're hoping that most potential buyers will not look past the street view.

I'm fascinated by looking at houses elsewhere; so many interesting differences. That first one is really interesting, and I like the design a lot. The second seems rather boring by comparison, but both seem to be finished really beautifully inside and outside. Are shower curtains common there?

Shower/tub combinations are uncommon here, and we don't have many shower curtains; glass doors or sliders are most common.

Ours mostly have separate tub and shower - though the tubs sometimes have a shower attachment.
