Finally! I now have the last two bookcases (which we brought home from my office three? years ago) all set up in my hallway! Until recently I had been keeping file cabinets there, then I moved those and had boxes of books and papers there, but I moved all of that out of the way (filling up much of the rest of my living space) so I could get the bookcases from their storage in J’s garage. J and D both came over after work and carried the two bookcases here, then put them into position for me, and I cleaned them up and started bringing the books to shelve. I was so enthusiastic that I didn’t notice how hard it was on my body to be doing so much exertion in the heat, and soon I had to stop. Tomorrow I’ll make more of a point not to exert myself until it’s a bit cooler, in the evening.
