Day 1015: Taking things more slowly - and a movie shocker

Well, I woke up today all ready to visit the credit union, join a friend's birthday lunch, and make a bunch more progress on the file cabinet project, but by the time I'd made it up the driveway to J's house I discovered that I was quite worn out from yesterday (not to mention sneezing with allergies and renewed aching muscle-wise), so I scaled back my plans considerably. I did unpack three drawers of papers from the old cabinets, eventually.

Then for movie night, we watched An American Tail: Fievel Goes West. I was absolutely appalled. Aside from the "Mousehicans" - who thought it was a great idea to make a happy movie about packing Jews on a train to send them to a work camp that turns out to be a death camp? Apparently Spielberg? What?

If that was Spielberg, shame on him, how horrid! :-(

I watched that decades ago, can't remember a thing. Probably a good thing!
