One of D’s three writing assignments tonight was to “write about someone very old.” He decided he doesn’t know any of his three remaining grandparents well enough, and I talked him out of writing about his teacher (who he insists would have been amused). So who did he pick to write about? Betty White, “one of the greatest comedic actors in history.” And he’s never even seen her as Sue Ann Niven.
