Saturday decadence

I feel like I watched an astonishing amount of TV today - episode 6 of John Adams (one to go), two episodes of Doctor Who (and we're all caught up), and the new version of A Room with a View (and why did they have to brutalize the story like that?). I also pulled quite a lot of weeds and ate a bunch of Thai food.

D. had a satisfyingly social day. First his friend took him to the National Gymnastics Academy for an hour or so, then later his other friend's family made a very impromptu invitation to Chuck E. Cheese. What a life!

And now I really need to figure out what's going into my term paper.
