The mini-outing as self-prescribed yesterday

Walked to the park, which was less interesting than the two banks of clouds in the sky. From the north, thin, loose, billowy clouds; from the south, a whole different story. These clouds were choppy, intense, like spackle spread too thick, or frosting spread too cold. Clear blue in between the two banks. Watched a busy little flock of birds (bushtits?) on the way back, and later found five lucky pennies and a nickel.
